Please note that all of our kayaks are tandem kayaks. All participants will be combined to two people per kayak. Groups with an odd number will have one individual in a tandem kayak by themselves.

About the Tour
In Ken Thompson Park (Night) Adventure you will be out into the darkness, with the glow of the LED lights beneath you. Take in the sounds of the Sarasota Bay while checking out the water below your clear kayak. You’ll hear fish jumping around you, see some sea grass below you, and feel the relaxing ocean air while paddling through Sarasota Bay. Your tour guide will lead the way during the Tour, where you can paddle your kayak through mangrove paths. Experience the ambiance created by the soft color of the LED glow lights on the incredible overhead formation of the mangroves. Along the way, your guide will use their headlamp to point out some of the finer details and illuminate the way.
Kayak Rules
- Participants may not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs when kayaking
- Children ages 4-12 MUST be accompanied by an adult (ages 13+) on a double kayak
- Kayak maximum combined weight: 425lbs.
- Participants who weigh over 325lbs. must ride solo in a single kayak
- Two participants will ride on a single kayak, three participants will ride in two kayaks, with two people on a kayak and the other on a single, etc.
What to Bring
For Day Tours:
- Clothes appropriate for sea water and gentle exercise such as shorts & short sleeve t-shirts
- A hat to protect you from the sun
- Water shoes or sandals
- Towel (you may get slightly wet while paddling)
- Sunscreen
For Night Tours:
- Clothes appropriate for sea water and gentle exercise and appropriate for the weather
- Water shoes or sandals
- Towel (you may get slightly wet while paddling)
- Mosquito repellent
On all tours spiked shoes, hiking shoes or any other shoes with sharp objects are not allowed.

Tours last 90 minutes, both day and night. Clients are reminded to arrive 10 minutes prior to the tour departure time, with a maximum waiting time of 10 minutes for clients to arrive on site. Failure to arrive within this time will result in our regret that we will have to leave without the client and no refunds will be given.

Children as young as 4 years old are permitted to participate in the kayak tour, as long as they travel with their parents and do not affect the balance of the kayak.

Reservations for the kayak tour must be made through our website, where you can view the availability at the time of reservation.
Before making payment for the kayak tour, you must sign the official waiver of the company. If you do not sign the waiver, you will not be able to proceed to the payment method.

Customers will receive a full refund or credit with 48 hours notice of cancellation. From 48 to 24 hrs we can reschedule you. Less than 24hrs you won’t receive a refund nor rescheduling. Customers will also receive a full refund or credit in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Contact us by phone to cancel or inquire about a cancellation. No-shows will be charged the full price.
